Long time no see,

Ahhh finally. It will almost be one month since I’ve posted on here and boy am i glad to get back to it! Between the crazy month of April, sickness, and traveling, i haven’t really got some down time. Due to all the craziness, i have so much to share about different events that have occurred so, let’s begin!

April was filled with lots of cool, random things so im just going to skip around and give some details and memories from each one!

First off, the races! Growing up, almost every weekend, we would go to the races. Nebraska is filled with lots of surrounding speedways and car racing has always been something we loved. As life got busier, we stopped going to the track until just recently when we started again! Boy, did i miss it! Here lately while sitting in the stands every Friday or Saturday night, it feels like time just froze still for those few years. The love and passion i have for it hasn’t changed one bit, there was just a tiny time lasp.

One thing i love most about April is that it’s right in the middle of Spring! Although Spring isn’t my favorite season, i love seeing all the colors pop out and the earth brighten up! Not to mention the positivity comes and it affects everything. Everyone dresses up a little nicer and is in a better mood. The weather is great, everyone’s feeling good, and the world is just better. 🌻🌼🌹🌸🌷🍀

Another good thing about Spring is all the fruit and healthy food that appears. The other day i decided to try one of the flavored waters my mom had sitting around. Not a unusual drink but for me I’m very picky about all my foods. This water though was delicious and became a new obsession i have!😁 If you get a chance, i would encourage you to try any type of Hint flavored water! So yummy! 😋

Recently a couple friends and i decided to help out a local track club, run by our school guidance counselor. We coach the kiddos every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00- 7:30 and it is a blast! Although I’m not the most athletic teenager out there, i love being a part of this and growing closer with not only my friends but each and every athlete that participates in the club! We just started going to the meets that are held in mostly Omaha or Lincoln and that is also something i really enjoy! Yes, sunburns and heat and tiredness are often present but it’s completely worth it! Side note: Yesterday when we were driving back into Lincoln, we saw dark, torando clouds, a rainbow, the sun shining, lightning, and a hail storm all at the same time! April & May hold some pretty wild storms too, which is so cool! 😆 We are just getting started and i can’t wait to see what else this season holds! 👌

After about a month of the 2014-2015 cheer season being over, we finally got to have our banquet. I lettered in cheerleading which was very exciting! The night was a wonderful way to finish out that season. Bittersweet as we look forward to the new year but also say goodbye to one of our girls and more importantly our coach. Sometimes life takes you a different direction but we know it’s all in God’s hands. The impact that each of the girls and my coach had on me was unreal but i know i will always be able to look back on it in a good way. 🎀

April 25th was the Junior/Senior Prom. That Saturday was so much fun, just being by Shaylee’s side all day while she was getting ready and then seeing Sheridan later that night! Both girls looked absolutely stunning. I’m so blessed that i get to experience these last moments with them but also have them right by my side as i start my highschool journey. ❤👑

Lastly, in April, i got to spend lots of time with Shaylee. It’s really starting to hit that she’s going to be gone and grown up 😢 so i think we are trying to get all the time we can together. Time is precious and pretty soon life is gonna be way different so right now, it’s the little things with her that matter most. ❤
